It would be best to have your own server. You may need to do lots of backing up (data and software), updating, … It would get very expensive to get server space from other providers. I recommend setting up a server that you own and maybe paying somebody to maintain it.
As fat as domain registration goes, yahoo offers a good deal (domains.yahoo.com).
