If you want to create a layout for your site you can do that simply by using HTML, you can learn the language here, and it’s pretty simple.

You might also want to use some WYSIWYG application to help you with the layout such as Micromedia DreamWeaver

If you’re interested in creating some cool graphics you need to use an image program such as Adobe Photoshop

You can find tons of photoshop tutorials here.

Hope this was what you where asking for.

If you want to start your website I recommend purchase your domain and hosting together. In this way it is possible to get your domain for free. Some hosting services offer this gift today.
One of these services is reachable at: . As an experienced webmaster I’m sure it would work for you and fulfill all your requirements. Their service is really great and easy to use. This company also offers “Free Site Builder” that helps you build your web pages without difficulty if you are not skilled in using any website creating program. First check with your hosting company. Many hosts offer a free online editor as part of the hosting package. These online editors will allow you to create a simple site based on templates.

There are also a number of free WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get) web page editors that you can download that will help you create a site without having to learn HTML.

There are a number of CMS (content management systems) that will help you build a complete web site based on a template. A CMS will allow you to update your web site through an online user friendly interface. Lots of free ones listed at

You could also use MS Word to create a website (save as html). You could learn some html and use notepad or any other text editor to create your site. You could buy software like Adobe Dreamweaver.

If the site is for an online business and you want a real professional site you should hire a website designer to do it right.

â–º I would recommend using NVU editor (www.nvu.com), it’s free and wont tie you down to one method of editing. NVU pages can be transferrable to frontpage or dreamweaver html editor
SEE for more info on Premium HTML Editors (WYSIWYG)

â–º For free hosting, try google pages pages.google.com or yahoo geocities ,
its sort of free hosting, but you are limited to a subdomain on googlepages & geo has ads on your website - otherwise I would use to get one for a few bucks a month with 500 GIG bandwidth and the rich with features

its up to you how developed a site you want and if you want to use your own domain name
